Festive fun at PHM

Visit us over the festive season and enjoy a sing-along to your favourite carols with another seasonal performance from Manchester Civil Service Choir.  Explore the museum after hours for December’s Radical Late, including our annual Winter Warmer; treat yourself to mulled wine and mince pies from The Left Bank cafe bar, browse our shop for unique gifts, and have a go at making your own wrapping paper!  Visit our Festive Ink craft table and be inspired by our Savage Ink exhibition to create a greetings card with a powerful message.  We're closed 24, 25, 26 December 2017 and 1 January 2018, but otherwise are open as usual and look forward to welcoming you!

Visiting the museum soon?  Take a wander through Spinningfields as festive feels have taken over!  Enjoy a taste of après ski in the city centre in the shape of Bar Hütte, a cosy ski lodge bar complete with individual alpine hüttes.  Browse a special Christmas edition of The Makers Market, meet the makers, and sample the goods from cheese to chocolate, puddings, to pies, posh tarts to gluten free goodies and much more.  The markets are open Thursday to Sunday in the lead up to Christmas on Spinningfields Square and The Avenue.  And don’t miss Manchester’s most Insta-grammable tree, accompanied by an army of nutcrackers!
