Play Your PartThis exhibition will be a true work in progress, allowing you to see behind the scenes of our Play Your Part project.  Help us test out ideas for our new Welcome Wall, debate topical issues and get creative with a series of exciting workshops.

The exhibition will start from nothing and evolve over time as we invite community groups, activists and you to experiment, contribute and create.  Three artists will base their studios in the gallery space in our Microresidencies project and staff will be on hand for regular office hours to discuss anything about the project.

We don’t yet know what will happen, but we’re excited to find out!

  • We’re on the lookout for activists, community groups, artists, academics, and anyone that wants to get involved in our exciting Work in Progress exhibition! Find out more here.
  • Part of our Play Your Part programme of events and exhibitions.
  • Family Friendly exhibition, suitable for all ages
  • Find out what’s on during the exhibition in our interactive calendar. We’ll keep adding events and workshops as we go, so keep checking back.ACE

The Community Gallery space is where local groups can display their own work. We try to make these displays relevant to the story told in the museum where possible.  Find out more if you are interested in exhibiting.
