Take a guided tour of our main galleries and our changing exhibition Never Going Underground: The Fight LGBT+ Rights and see how women have campaigned for better working conditions.Never Going Underground: The Fight for LGBT+ Rights

We will look at the lives of social justice campaigners Esther Roper and Eva Gore-Booth who campaigned for equal rights for working class women.Heritage Lottery Funded

Part of our Never Going Underground season, a year long programme of exhibitions, events and learning programmes exploring the past, present and future of LGBT+ activism.

Wonder WomenPart of Wonder Women 2017, Manchester’s annual feminist festival, running 2-12 March 2017.  This event has been supported with a grant from Manchester City Council.
