Women’s role in British politics is much more than the Pankhursts.  Come for a tour and explore women’s role in the public performance that was politics in the late 18th century.  Examine the ideas of early feminists likes Mary Wollstonecraft and see how the votes for women campaign grew.

The tour will finish in Main Gallery Two with an examination of those women who fought for equal pay, a more peaceful world and, love her or hate her, Britain’s first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher.  Part of Wonder Women Radical Manchester.
