Through the biographies of three women involved in the Manchester Women’s War Interest Committee (Margaret Ashton, Mary Quaile and Annot Robinson), Dr Alison Ronan will examine the national and local suffrage, socialist and trade union networks which informed the work of Manchester women during the war.
