The annual national Peace History Conference is open to everyone, and aims to increase understanding of past peace movements and activity and alternative ways of responding to conflict, to inform the present and the future.

Recognising its move from London this year, and celebrating the International Year of Co-operatives, the title is ‘From Local to Global – the north’s role in peace and co-operation’.  This focus will be reflected in the programme of the conference which covers topics on peace in its broadest interpretation.

The Conference is organised by the Movement for the Abolition of War and peace organisations active in the north of England

Suitable for adults.
