A workshop with the museum’s Songwriter in Residence Matt Hill (Quiet Loner) exploring how past events can provide inspiration for today’s songwriters.  Hear songs that use history as inspiration, look around the galleries and learn techniques for lyric writing.

Anyone with a creative streak can come along, but this is most suitable for people who are already writing songs.  No need to bring instruments as the workshop will focus primarily on song lyrics.Arts Council England
