Women of ScienceJust 13% of those working in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in the UK are women.  This gender disparity has long fuelled misconceptions about who can be a Scientist/Engineer, which then influences the choices and confidence of our young people.

Women of Science presents a digital photography exhibition that shares stories of women who work and study in STEM.  The exhibition showcases and explores the achievements, struggles, and attitudes of a diverse range of female scientists and engineers in the aim of shattering stereotypes, and making real and relatable role models accessible to all.  Alongside the exhibition there will be an opportunity to chat to a scientist or an engineer to find out more about their story and journey into STEM.We Love Kids in Museums

This exhibition is being shown as part of Manchester Science Festival, a creative, playful and surprising celebration of science that takes place over a range of venues each year.

Family Friendly exhibition, suitable for all ages
