The Political Studies Association invite you to join academics, politics undergraduate students and a well known keynote speaker to discuss what parliament does and how it could improve in the future.  You will reflect on the value of parliament to different subject areas and disciplines and how it should carry out its work.  Part of Parliament Week 2015.

Suitable for sixth form students.  Please note that all groups of students MUST be accompanied by at least one member of teaching staff

Draft Programme

  • 12.00pmDrop in visit to the Labour History Archive & Study Centre and self-guided visit to the museum galleries* (optional)
  • 1.00pmRegistration and tea/coffee
  • 1.30pmWelcome and Introduction
  • 1.35pmWorkshop Session 1: Talk Parliament
  • 2.35pmKeynote Talk
  • 3.00pmWorkshop Session 2: Think Parliament

*Please note: if groups would like to book a picnic lunch space or a self-guided visit to the archive prior to the workshop, please contact: learning@phm.org.uk.
