A fascinating exhibition of painting, illustration, photography, film, animation and music born of the Syrian uprising by some of the most active and acclaimed Syrian artists, collectives and citizen journalists including Khalil Younes, Sulafa Hijazi, Lens Young Dimashqi, Comic4Syria, Art & Freedom, Alshaab Alsori Aref Tarekh, and many more.

These artist-activists have created a parallel republic where artists and activists share information and express themselves virtually, as well as on the streets.

Parallel Republic: The Art of Civil Disobedience is on display until Sunday 2 April 2017.
