Instigate ArtsInstigate Arts presents Sound from the Stores; a beautiful one-night-only event that will see the Engine Hall of the People’s History Museum transformed into a sensory den of sound and light.

Audiences are welcomed to this special performance by some of Manchester’s most unique sound artists who’ve created newly commissioned pieces in response to the wealth of archive material and objects in the museum’s collection.

  • Manchester After Hours is a one night only, city wide social.  A mix of odd couplings and unexpected partnerships.  A chance for you to get into places and spaces not normally open after hours.  It’s Museums at Night, It’s Manchester After Hours.
  • Museums at Night is the annual after-hours festival of arts, culture and heritage when hundreds of museums, galleries, libraries, archives and heritage sites open their doors for special evening events.  It takes place from Wednesday 11 to Saturday 14 May.

  • Treat yourself to 15% off in The Left Bank cafe bar and 10% off in the museum shop when you attend an event at the People’s History Museum
