The LGBT+ Liberty Festival is a celebration of Mancunian LGBT+/queer culture taking place in solidarity with the National Equality March for Unity in Pride in Washington DC, marking the first anniversary of the Orlando attack. Join us for an exciting artistic workshop to create the ultimate rally accessories. Explore themes and messages of solidarity with the US and transfer them on to your clothes, your banner, your own Liberty torch, or even on to yourself! Get radical and get creative in preparation for the rally at 2.30pm in All Saints Park.

  • Part of the LGBT+ Liberty Festival weekend co-ordinated by Somewhere, a new Manchester LGBT+ arts and cultural CIC, and Instigate Arts, a Manchester arts organisation who create positive, progressive social change through arts production and participation.
  • Part of our Never Going Underground season, a year long programme of exhibitions, events and learning programmes exploring the past, present and future of LGBT+ activism.
