Wonder WomenMeet Maggie McCallow, a Victorian match girl involved in the match factory strike of 1888 and find out how she campaigned for better rights for workers.  Find out how this inspired the museum’s Fabric of Protest group project to create a banner commemorating their campaign.

This event is part of Wonder Women 2017, Manchester’s annual feminist festival, running 2-12 March 2017.  This event has been supported with a grant from Manchester City Council.
