As part of our Manchester Mega Mela celebrations, return back to the 1960s to meet Anita Sharma, who is at school in Manchester.  Follow her journey to adulthood as she explores her identity and describes her summer holiday trip to India with her mother and father who were born there.

Family Friendly activity, suitable for over 5s to adults.

Manchester Mega Mela is a free outdoor celebration weekender of south Asian culture in the north of England.  Taking place Saturday 6 - Sunday 7 July, the Mela includes an exciting programme of music, dance, food and traditional arts and crafts, bringing the sights, sounds and spicy aromas of south Asia to Platt Fields Park.  Family events 1.00pm – 6.00pm, free both days.  Find out more.
