Art has always played a part in the battle for the ballot and the struggle for democracy; whether in the form of banners or badges, posters or paintings.  For one week only, the People’s History Museum will be hosting an exhibition like it never has before, exploring how ‘ideas worth fighting for’ has been captured by some of the UK’s leading contemporary artists, designers and illustrators.

Co-curated by PHM Patron Laura Harper, the museum’s Engine Hall will play host to sculptures, prints, paintings and banners created by 12 prominent artists, displaying their interpretations of ‘ideas worth fighting for’.
