Join Vijay Patel, one of the Continuum artists, for an introduction to various stop-motion animation techniques, using cut-outs, photographs and more! You’ll have the time to explore each of these techniques as well as discuss stories highlighted in the Continuum exhibition. Using the ‘Stop-Motion Movie Creator’ Smartphone app you’ll use themes from the exhibition as well as your own experiences of gender as a catalyst for creating your own animated story, and by the end of the workshop you’ll have created and published your own animated short film. Please note: it is advisable that participants have their own smartphone to work with, or attend with someone who is able to share their device.
