Join Professor Jeremy Gilbert, author of Common Ground: Democracy and Collectivity in an Age of Individualism, for a public lecture exploring the cultural consequences of financial control.  This will be followed by a roundtable discussion on the relationship between society and the arts during times of economic and financial crisis.  Carry on the conversation over a drinks reception.

Organised by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Arts and Languages at the University of Manchester.
