On Friday 8 May Britain will have had its say.  But with academics and pollsters struggling to predict who the winners and losers are going to be, and a mood amongst the electorate for something different, it’s looking to be one of the most important and interesting days in modern British history.

As part of PHM’s ongoing programme of events to mark the general election, we will be opening early on the morning after polling day.  Come along, partake in a bacon butty (or veggie equivalent), sip a cup of tea and join academics, students, and political geeks to watch the results and discuss the outcomes.  Our current changing exhibition Election! will be open; see how the 2015 election result compares with elections past.

  • Enjoy a breakfast sandwich and hot drink for £3.75
  • Or put your X where your mouth is and enjoy a special offer hot X bun with a tea or coffee for only £2.50

Suitable for adults and young people

**Please note this event will be filmed**
