Do you shop at the Co-op?  From humble beginnings, the co-operative movement now features largely in our lives.

Hear the story and follow the threads which bound together a group of like minded thinkers headed by Robert Owen, the father of co-operation and including an atheist who was the last man in England to be imprisoned for blasphemy.  Join this walk and hear the continuing story.

This tour is run by Manchester Guided Tours.  Part of Manchester Histories Festival.
