Ever wondered where the People’s History Museum stores its objects when they’re not on display?  We have 100,000 objects tucked away in our stores just down the road from the museum at 103 Princess Street.  Go behind the scenes with Curator Chris Burgess and discover some hidden gems. Heritage Open Days

To Celebrate Heritage Open Days.

  • Enjoy the opportunity to ride on historic buses from the collection of the Museum of Transport on Saturday 13 & Sunday 14 September

Suitable for adults and young people

  • Please note this event will take place at our stores at 103 Princess Street
  • Please note this site has limited access and no toilets are available.  Please contact the museum on 0161 838 9190 or email info@phm.org.uk in advance if you have if you have support needs
  • Tours limited to ten people on a first come first served basis; if you wish to go on a tour please arrive ten minutes before the tour starts
  • Tours will be on the hour every hour (last tour at 3.00pm)

The People's History Museum is very grateful to all its funders
