Group visits
The museum welcomes groups.
If you’re thinking of visiting the museum as part of a group then we have a new package available. See below for more information. We hope to be able to offer more tailored packages in the future.
Your group is very welcome to visit at any time for a self-guided tour. The museum is free to all. It is useful for us to know in advance if you are planning a visit with a group so we can advise you if there are other groups booked. This enables you to get the most out of your visit and avoids clashing with other large groups or activities taking place in the museum (or indeed you might want to book for an event or activity).
Teas and Tours

For only £6.60 per person you will receive:
- An informative tour of our galleries led by an experienced member of staff

Minimum charge of £66, no minimum number of people.
