Never Going Underground Family Friendly Launch Day! Sunday 12 March 2017

12 March 2017, Never Going Underground Family Friendly Launch Day @ People's History Museum

Help celebrate the launch of our Never Going Underground Family Friendly programme!  Join us this Sunday 12 March from 11.00am to 3.30pm, and enjoy a whole host of events and activities for all ages, designed and created in partnership with Proud 2 b Parents, a service for LGBT parents and their children.

Join author and illustrator Olly Pike who will be reading his reworked fairytales throughout the day; explore our exhibition Never Going Underground: The Fight for LGBT+ Rights to a musical tune with Matt Hill’s (aka Quiet Loner) music workshop; discover secrets of the galleries with our treasure hunt… for a special prize; and show us what makes you unique and what your dreams for the future are in our craft workshops, where we will be making dream catchers and identity boxes!

Part of our Never Going Underground season, a year long programme of exhibitions, events and learning programmes exploring the past, present and future of LGBT+ activism.
