Thursday 7 March 2013

Join us for the special Learning Private View of our new changing exhibition Hidden by Red Saunders on Thursday 7 March, 5.30pm – 7.30pm.  Meet the Learning Team over a drink, find out more about how your group can explore and be inspired by Hidden and have a taster of our Living History performance Slavery & Suffrage – William Cuffay’s Story and one our Family Friendly workshops that links to the exhibition.

An Impressions Gallery touring exhibition, Hidden recreates great moments in the long struggle for rights and representation in Britain.  Saunders has created re-imagined photographic tableaux, which include scenes such as the signing of the People’s Charter and the Peasants’ Revolt.  To accompany the exhibition we have created lesson plans and resource packs for school groups to adult groups, which will be available on our website soon.  We will launch these resources at the Learning Private View.

All those attending the Hidden Learning Private View will receive a special discount voucher.

Please RSVP by Wednesday 6 March on 0161 838 9190 or email learning@phm.org.uk

Refreshments will be provided.
