Challenging perceptions of Communism in Britain and beyond

What would a Communist Britain look like?  Uncovering new archive collections on leading British Communists, this Arts & Humanities Research Council funded project with the University of Manchester will include two exhibitions, a day school and an international conference.  The project will provide an insight into how Communists tried to transform civil society through the media, education, science and culture, and how they envisaged a socialist Britain may look.

The EURO Tunnel, In or Out?

Confused between your Council and your Commission?  PHM has commissioned a graphic installation that explores all things EU.  The EURO Tunnel is a trip into the European Union, its institution, and the arguments for and against remaining and leaving.  Visitors are encouraged to leave their comments and leaflets to add to our collection.
