This banner bears a central design of a torch with a crossed quill pen and spade with the word "Liberty" across it. This was the Labour Party logo between 1924 and 1983. Materials: Plain woven fabric, probably linen or rayon mix, with applied fabric design. Rayon was the first man-made textile fibre, first produced in 1884. |
