Money Matters? Patchwork quilt workshop @ People's History Museum

Our changing exhibition Show Me the Money: The Image of Finance, 1700 to the Present looks at how the financial world has been portrayed through illustration, photography and other visual media over the last three centuries in Britain and the United States - ideal for Economics, Art & Design and History studies.

Bring your group to visit the exhibition and combine it with one of our Show Me the Money Learning Sessions.  We are offering ten FREE sessions for Greater Manchester schools who have not visited the museum before for the duration of the exhibition.  Groups can also use our self-led resources to enhance their visit.

Teaching GCSE or A-level Economics?  We’re looking for an Economics class to take part in our free Money Matters? workshop.  The group will explore the exhibition with our curator, then work with an artist to create a patchwork piece that portrays how we experience and value money today.  Please contact learning@phm.org.uk to book.

We are contacting you as you may be interested in the above offers.  If you would like to find out more about our Learning Programme please sign up to receive the Learning e-newsletter, sent out approximately every three months.  If you choose to unsubscribe from this mailing list it will not affect other PHM mailing lists you may be subscribed to.
