Changing Exhibition Gallery

The Changing Exhibition Gallery showcases more of our collections with a six monthly changing exhibition. These exhibitions are related to the themes of the museum's main galleries and story.

The Changing Exhibition Gallery is located off the Engine Hall in the Pump House (the old home of the museum before the expansion).

Click on the left hand menu to find out more about the current exhibition on show.  You can also look and see the changing exhibitions we’ve held in the past.

For those visitors that visited the museum before our multi-million pound redevelopment, you might recognise the space used for the Changing Exhibition Gallery – it used to be the museum’s main galleries.  You will be able to see lots of original features from the time the building was a working hydraulic pumping station in this space, especially up in the ceiling.
