Postcard issued by the Post Office, 1994

Postcard issued by the Post Office, 1994This, believe it or not, is a postcard issued by the Post Office.  It was found amongst the papers of David Candler, a Press Officer to the Prime Minister Harold Wilson in the late 1960s.  Candler also stayed with the Wilson press office after the Labour Party lost the 1970 general election.

Is the card designed to make you want to visit Blackpool, or to use the Post Office?  It has a date stamp on it from 1994, so it is rather recent in archive terms, but no less quirky!
