Letter to Robert Williams from George Bernard Shaw, 26 June 1925George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950) was a playwright.  He was also a prolific journalist, turning out considerable numbers of essay and articles in his time.

The sums of money offered to Shaw, which he mentions in the letter, were for their time astonishing amounts of money.  The letter here was written to Robert William’s then Editor of the Daily Herald.
