Drinks reception at PHMLooking for a genuinely inspirational venue?  Then why not hold your event in the company of some of the greatest ever team builders, motivational speakers and passionate problem solvers.

The museum has brand new conference and meeting facilities at a venue which fuses a magnificently restored historic Edwardian Pump House and a spectacular architectural award-winning new-build.  Catering is provided by Couture, operators of our on-site cafe bar The Left Bank.

  • Delegates using the museum’s venue hire spaces for day time meetings will receive a 20% discount in the museum shop on the day of their meeting.
  • The museum has preferential parking rates available to delegates at a city centre car park.  Please contact the Venue Hire Team for further details.

Spaces

We have a number of spaces available, click on the space you are interested in for more information:

  • the 18 seat Meeting Room – ideal for boardroom meetings or smaller training days
  • the 50 seat Coal Store Conference Room – ideal for all-day meetings, training days and launches
  • and the original Edwardian Engine Hall, which can seat up to 100 people for an evening dinner or welcome 200 guests for a reception.

Our Day Delegate packages from £26.50 per person plus VAT includes:

An excellent finger buffet and refreshments
Servings of tea and coffee
Room hire
AV equipment hire and internet access

We also offer special rates for charitable organisations.

To give you an idea of the different options that we have available from our caterers, Couture, why not have a look at their Daytime Hospitality Menus and Evening Events Menus.  Options range from sandwiches for lunch to buffets and sit down dinners.  They are happy to tailor catering to your specific requirements.

Private parties

Did you know that you can hire The Left Bank cafe bar and have your private party there?  Couture can put together some very tasty menus for a buffet or meal – take a look at their Evening Events Menus for ideas.
